If you havenā€™t already heard of Ilha de Queimada Grande, a deceptively beautiful island off the coast of Brazil, youā€™ll be surprised to hear that is possibly the deadliest place on Earth. Why? Well, in English, itā€™s called Snake Island, and perhaps thatā€™s all you need to know.

Thereā€™s about a month left to enter the 2024 Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards, but the organization behind the annual award is giving a sneak peek at 10 front runners for this yearā€™s competition.

Meet Rocky the golden retriever and his parents Jeff and Kim Wiseman. They took to social media to thank the Charleston Animal Society and the makers of his doggy life jacket fo this safe return. The family was cruising up Ashley River on June 23. Speaking with Fox, Jeff recounted the incident that caused the golden retriever to go missing.
