The cutest trail-cam footage is also significant, as it shows a rare litter of three jaguar cubs in Argentina’s Iberá Wetlands. Rewilding Argentina, an environmental organization, posted the footage on LinkedIn, explaining that “for the first time we registered a litter of THREE cubs, something quite unusual for the species, which in general usually brings up one or two cubs.”

Logan Moore was on the trip of a lifetime, a 36-day backpacking trip across Europe with his best friend and cousin, Adisyn Mathenia, when the worst happened. While hiking in the Swiss mountains, Moore, 25, slipped and fell. Mathenia reports Moore initially fell about 25 feet onto a boulder then tumbled into a crack head first for another 25 feet. She believes the backpack he was wearing helped him survive the fall.

Natalia Moreno Fimbres is an adventure guide who takes wildlife enthusiasts through the Baja Peninsula, where hundreds of gray whales migrate each year. Recently, a gray whale treated Fimbres and her guests to the show of a lifetime. The animal came up to the boat, laid on its side, and opened its mouth, showing off its baleen.
